BLC Leverless Micro Switch

The switch that sits inside a CGMAD BLC button and turns a press into a signal. Three terminals, and no actuator lever: the button plunger acts on the switch directly.

Leaving the lever out shortens the path between the cap and the contact, which is what gives the button a fast, definite trigger instead of the slight vagueness a lever adds. Inside, a sprung leaf works against silver-copper composite contacts — chosen for conductivity and for keeping a clean, consistent rebound under the press rates a busy cabinet sees.

It is a wear part. Switches are replaced far more often than button bodies, which is why they are sold separately and why the terminal pattern is kept constant across the range.
