K2 Lampholder Wiring Harness

A five-wire pigtail on a single-row, six-position housing, for the same job as the K1: connecting a CGMAD button lampholder and micro switch assembly to the panel loom through a connector rather than loose terminals.

The wire colours follow the CGMAD connector standard, so the harness is self-documenting once you know the convention: black is the switch common, orange the LED positive, brown the switch normally-open contact, white the LED ground and purple the switch normally-closed contact. Because the lamp and the switch share one connector but remain two separate circuits, this harness carries both — which is worth remembering when fault-finding: a dead lamp and a dead button on the same button arrive through the same plug but have nothing else in common.
